About The Christian Disciple

The Christian Disciple is committed to serving God and communities across the world. We were not called to continue and perfect religious traditions, but to perfect faith, holiness, righteousness and obedience to God; and to restore men and women to their rightful place with God. We fulfill our commitments by practicing biblical principles of Christian discipleship and spirituality that are taken directly from the word of God that were spoken by Jesus Christ. We focus on the commands and teachings of Jesus Christ because God commanded us to do so (Deuteronomy 18:15 -19; Matthew 17:5; John 7: 16), and has make Jesus the "Center of our Lives". We are not a new religion, denomination, cult, and we are not presenting a new doctrine. We are assured that you will see Christ like you have never seen Him before, in His fullness.
Our desire is that all men should receive the gift of salvation by believing in Jesus Christ and be water baptized by full immersion. We believe that those who are saved, should experience a victorious, prosperous, fulfilling and joyous spirit-filled life. Jesus came to set us all free from the power of sin and Satan, and to make it possible for us to experience the abundant life that Jesus offers. (John 8:36; 10:10) This life is attainable through obedience, prayer, bible reading, fasting, fellowship with other believers, and clean living.
We believe that discipleship (personal evangelism) is a vital element of our Christian journey. Therefore, we will do our best to encourage and assist in the training of every Christian we could reach, through our comprehensive discipleship program. We intend for you to become a Disciple of Jesus Christ and not of any man or religious organization. A Christian should be an asset to any ministry, job, school, etc, that he is a part of because he understands the heart and mission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (Luke 4:18; John 15:15; Ephesians 6:5)

Isaiah 42:8
I am the LORD, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.

Our ultimate goal is to mobilize the body of Christ, motivating them to fulfill the 'Great Commission' by sound biblical teaching, encouragement, and most importantly, making known to each believer his God given rights and authority as a Christian disciple. Our intention is that a disciple should be able to lead by example wherever God places him, taking on new challenges and standing strong in the face of adversity. The disciple should not be dependent on man for any of his desired accomplishments,  but on God. The disciple should not strive to please man, but live to please God and at the same time understand the intricacy of interdependency with people, and other disciples (Mark 9: 38-41). We as disciples are many hands, many minds, many gifts and abilities, but one mission.(Luke 4: 18-19; 1 Corinthians 12).
We are motivated by love because we believe that love is the foundation of the Gospel of  Jesus Christ. Without love, our efforts would be self-centered and Godless. (1 Corinthians 13)
For too long, especially in these times, the church has been "tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting", (Ephesians 4:14), leaders who have their own personal or political agendas and are further dividing the body of Christ. Many pastors today are looking up to popular politicians and talk-radio hosts for guidance, then interpret scriptures to justify their beliefs and actions. Some religious leaders focus on influencing politics which creates a brick wall between the church and the unsaved; the same people of whom we were called to also love and reach (God's mission) for Jesus Christ. They only use the Bible conveniently to "profit their ministries",  advance their own agenda and to further divide the body of Christ. Christ will not divide his body; but the devil will always try to do so. Many 'church-goers' are seen as  " having a form of godliness, but denying the power (authority) thereof: from such turn away " (2 Timothy 3:5). According to the 1998 United Nations Census on religions, there are about 23,000 Christian denominations in this world, and they all differ in their beliefs in some form or fashion. The Bible said in Ephesians 4, and 1 Corinthians 12, that there is only one Lord, one God, one faith, one baptism, Jesus will never divide his body but gave us all special gifts and abilities to develop and cement His body and message as one.

Ezekiel 22:28
"And her prophets have daubed them with untempered mortar, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, The Lord God said, when the Lord had not spoken".

1 Corinthians 1:10
Sectarianism Is Sin
Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Ephesians 4: 11-13
11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

Christian disciples should focus more on the teachings and commands of Jesus Christ. It is important to know that our leader is Christ and that we must follow Him. We must be obedient to Him. Jesus is the one that was assigned by God to lead us and to bring deliverance to the world. God gave Him all power in Heaven and on earth as King of kings and Lord of Lords. He is the only Way, the Truth and the Life. Only by our obedience to Him can we see God. We are obedient to God only if we obey Jesus because God told us to listen to Jesus. Jesus Christ is the Word of God in a "nutshell" (John 1). God said that He sent Jesus and commanded Him what to tell us. He is presently the only voice of God. The Holy Spirit will remind us of Jesus' teachings.

Deuteronomy 18:15, 18, 19
“The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear. 18 I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him.

Matthew 17:5
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”

Ezekiel 34: 23-24
23 I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them—My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24 And I, the LORD, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken.

John 14:66
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 10: 14-16
14 I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. 15 As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.

Hebrews 1:1-2
"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds".

John 14:26
"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I (Jesus) said to you".

John 5:45-47
45 Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you—Moses, in whom you trust. 46 For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about Me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”

Acts 3:20-23
20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:  21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.  22For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall you hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.  23
And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

Luke 6:46
“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?"

John 17
Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,  2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.  3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.  4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.  5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word.  7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.  8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me…..
