Building Strong Families, Churches, and Communities.

The

Responsibility ~ Leadership ~ Keeping It Toghether

We will incorporate biblical principles and practical commonsense methods to provide complete healing to the whole man. The restoration of our communities is to a great degree dependent upon the restoration of our men. Too many men have abandoned their posts as leaders of their families, the church, communities, and country, thus giving over their authority ad rights to Satan.

Matthew 12:29
"Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first binds the strong man and then he will spoil his house".

Objectives:
To teach men the importance of obedience to Christ and His Word.Enlighten men through wisdom and knowledge from the word of GodInstruct men on how to be effective in their home and communities.Show men the significance of unity, fellowship, honesty and accountability.Provide a wide range of proven solutions for men's issues.Educate men on how to use their God-given talents and abilities to be successful in any environment.Cultivate an atmosphere of spiritual, mental, and emotional growth among men.To rejuvenate battle scarred and wounded men of God (don’t let the wounded soldier die).To develop a network of support groups for men of God.A real man confronts challenge.A troubled society's moral decay gives opportunity to men of courage, integrity and true manhood to stand strong. Many have lost the meaning of manhood, but there are a few men who are overcoming dangerous philosophies to confront today's challenges and bring hope, dignity and order back to a world in desperate need. Such men are called “heroes.”"Strong men always proclaim strong messages. They do not read the polls and check the surveys before they give their opinions. In fact they do not even have opinions—they have convictions. They bleed convictions. They are strong men anchored in the strong Word of God, and, as such, they bring a message with gravitas and punch. When they stand to speak they actually have something to say…and they say it, whether anyone listens or not. When they sit to write, they do not go round the issues…they tackle them. When they address the times in which they live, they do not tickle ears…they box them. They do not have one message for one group and a different message for a different group. Wherever they go and whomever they address, they have only one message.. God’s message. This is what makes them strong men. They speak God’s Word, or they do not speak at all."                   "Steven Lawson, Foundations of Grace"1 Corinthians 16:13 (Amplified Bible)Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith (your conviction respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it). Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength! David O James Sr"It Takes Courage To Move Forward... Despite The Odds"Men must be examples for our future generations. We should be the better judges of seductive situations and lead by moving in the right direction because we will be blamed or praised for the outcomes. Real men do not see themselves as 'players', pimps, or having a compulsion to exercise and display their sexual prowess. They do not have to use their fists, knives, guns or threats on anyone to establish control or respect, nor do they have to buy it. Respect is earned.  A real man will be faithful to his calling. We were created in the image and likeness of God.

Genesis 1:26-28; 2: 18-24
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”18 And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” 19 Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man.23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Ephesians 5:25-27
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

Proverbs 31: 10-12
10 Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. 11
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

1 Corinthians 16:13 - Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.

Joshua 1:6-9
6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Proverbs 2:6-21
6 For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.7 He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,8 for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.9 Then you will understand what is right and just and fair—every good path.10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.11 Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,13 who leave the straight paths to walk in dark ways,14 who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,15 whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways.16 It will save you also from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words,17 who has left the partner of her youth and ignored the covenant she made before God.  18 For her house leads down to death and her paths to the spirits of the dead.19 None who go to her return or attain the paths of life.20 Thus you will walk in the ways of good men and keep to the paths of the righteous.21 For the upright will live in the land ,and the blameless will remain in it;Our wives, children and communities do not come to us in a perfect package, we have to strive to make the package perfect with the help of God. We have a lot of work to do. Like Christ, we have to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Him.

(Matthew 16:24; Ephesians 5:25-27).
We have to teach them the ways of the Lord.  Real men submit to the authority of God through Jesus Christ and not to any religious organization. According to a United Nations census done in 1998, there are 23,000 Christian denominations in the world who compete and differ in their teachings and beliefs. Real men follow Jesus Christ and not pastors, priests or religious leaders. Real men are the priests of their homes, with Christ to guide them. If a man does not submit himself to the leadership of Jesus Christ, he should not be frustrated if his wife does not submit to him. No amount of money or power  could make you a real man in the sight of God (unfortunately, many women do not believe that). Not every man has the ability to be a lawyer, doctor, manager or have the perfect paying job. Someone has to do the plumbing, construction, pick up the garbage, do landscape, etc, etc. Using the scripture from 1 Timothy 5:8 to create disrespect in a family unit is very ungodly and destructive especially if we do not understand the culture and economic system of that day. Rich families are still falling apart. The man is the priest of his home and therefore needs to know who Jesus is, so that he could lead his family the right way. His pastor in not the leader of his home, neither is any sales person, family or in-laws. Real men know Christ and will not give up their authority to anyone else. Real men along with their wives, bear the responsibility of raising their children to be future leaders of society who will then lead with honesty, integrity, honor and conviction. They protect themselves and their family from sin and failure. We must hold ourselves and our women to higher standards of living for the sake of our future generations. Risky behaviors are already taking their toll on public health and family relationships. The way we treat our women will also have a bearing on our relationship with God.As strong men of God, let us view and treat women as the priceless God-given persons they are, and not just for our ego or sexual satisfaction. It has been proven that if any negative or positive nickname is used frequently to address a person, that person is likely to believe and act out that nickname. (A good name is better that silver and gold - Proverbs 22:1). Let us dwell on the positive side of people.A real man will respect and protect the sanctity and future of females of any age, or young boys. He will evaluate the situation and control his sexual desires even though the opportunity lends itself especially with family, in-laws, in second marriages,  with best friends, workmates, and even strangers.

1 Peter 3:7
Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

1 Corinthians 11:3 - But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God

Proverbs 22:1
Proverbs 6:32-33
32 Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul. 33 Wounds and dishonor he will get, and his blame will not be wiped away.

Philippians 4:13
I can do everything through Christ who gives me strength.A true leader is one that has submissive followers who were not coaxed, forced or coerced into following him. He is also submissive and committed to the needs of his followers.

"Bringing Truth and Light into a Dark World" - John 1:4-9
Real men put aside their differences, weaknesses, egotism, inadequacies, temptations, fears and all underlying hindrances in order to confront and solve the problems we face in our communities. God has originally placed us in most situations , as the head of our homes, churches, communities, cites and countries. We must regardless of the constant pressures, exhibit confidence, compassion, integrity, the righteousness of God, honesty, fairness and self-respect. We are commissioned to lead and teach our women (Ephesians 5:25-27) along this path and remember also that our children are learning from us, the way to survive and live with dignity in this vast and complicated world.

Triumphant Through Trials

Challenges are essential because they build character, that's why we as men must win. Satan occupied a high place in heaven but pride entered his heart and he wanted to sit on God's throne. He was removed from heaven and now lives on the earth.(Isaiah 14: 12-18) God created man and give man dominion over the earth. The power-hungry and enraged Satan deceitfully took man's position. Christ came and defeated the devil for all humanity, so that through Him we could overcome the devil. (Ezekiel 28: 12- 19)
Additional reading:

1 John 3:8
He that commit sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God (Jesus) was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

John 16:33
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Men are still targeted by the devil to fail. He wants to be in control. That is why many men are deceitfully pressured by the devil to abandon their families, their jobs, fill up the prisons and jails, resist God's authority and the government, and submit themselves to drugs, alcohol and sexual promiscuity. The devil also challenges their masculinity, which causes them to question their sexual orientation. (Romans 1: 26-28). When sin entered the Garden of Eden, God went in search of Adam and not Eve. The curse of sin was not felt until Adam, the Head, accepted the fruit from Eve and ate it . (Genesis 3: 6-10). As men, we need to be strong and courageous. We should not be governed by fleshly desires and weaknesses.

Mark 3:27
No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.

John 10:10
The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

2 Corinthians 2:1 - Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

1 Corinthians 7: 1-31
Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. 2 Nevertheless, because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. 3 Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.

Ephesians 4:26-28
26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give place to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

2 Corinthians 11:3
But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The devil will use every means possible to drive you from your home or good positions in life, even if he has to use those closest to you. He will cause your wife to come up against you just like he used Eve against Adam. Your wives, friends, relatives and associates may always from time to time challenge and desire your position. The devil has to move you out of the way so that he could fully control your family and community. He will not give up all the days of your life. That is why we have to fight like the men we are, with the help of God Almighty through Jesus Christ. Remember, our enemy is the devil and not people. He uses people to carry out his plans. He even uses weak or deceived ministers. God gave us full access to His Word and His throne of mercy and grace. Be the example like Christ and also teach His Words to everyone.

Ephesians 6:13 - Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

1 Corinthians 16:13 - Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

1 Corinthians 16:13 - Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.James 4:7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works

Hebrews 4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

1 Peter 2:21 - For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps.

2 Timothy 2:24 - And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient.
